The Sempais

the Sempais is my rock-pop-Japanese group. Yes it sounds very strange but it’s true.

My group style is a mixture of pop(occidental) and Japanese pop. They are both different but very special when you mix them up.

We are five members in the group: King, Shinji, Grospoliner and me “Yui”.

King plays a bass guitar and Shinji the drums, Grospoliner plays all the instruments but his specialized in oriental style.

We all met on a chat in Argentine. Shinji became my brother and Grospoliner is other of my best friends. King met us on the chat too, but he is from Japan.

Our first concert was in Argentina, in the Japanese Garden. They all had had an experience befor in a studio. I was so nervous that I fell down, only crossed the door…it was so embarrassing!

Our first album was a hit in 2000 with the song Chan-Party. Nowadays we are writing an opening for a Japanese little production, and we are also doing a new video. We are thinking of doing a Japanese tour next year.
